This is where he found his true passion for the culinary arts!

Culinary flare to home cooked meals

Of course, being the student, he wanted to excel and achieve great things with his new interest. He secured a wonderful position as chef and manager for the United States Army. He served the Ft Myer's Officer club for ten years. His responsibilities included, cooking an array of special dishes for the officers, managing the dining room, and catering large affairs.

Many affairs included government officials, such as, former Presidents, George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton and General Colin Powell. It was an exciting time for Chef Moss!
It was, during this time, that Chef Moss Balile became the talent that he is! He was able to create beautiful dishes that were appreciated by many!

After his ten year reign serving the Army, Moss moved to the state of Virginia, where he acquired a position as manager of a large
retirement community. He enjoyed this position but missed the creativeness of cooking. He decided to move to Florida, where he had the pleasure of being accepted at Forest Oaks, a senior community. He had the best of both worlds.. He truly loves the seniors.. It was like, "love at first sight" for him! Not only does he get to assist the wonderful residents, but he gets to do what he does best, cook fabulous meals!

Chef Balile decided to teach a cooking class to anyone that wants to learn. His cooking class has been a huge hit at Forest Oaks. Attracting many potential residents. He teaches how we can cook healthy.. But yet.. Delicious!
His class is open to the public and was featured in The Tampa Tribune!

Chef Moss loves life and still seeks adventure.. He enjoyed sky diving greatly, but decided to not indulge in this activity because of his dedication as father.
He looks forward to helping the Salvation Army by cooking for those in need and sharing his compassion with seniors that need meals on wheels..
No matter what life has in store for Chef Moss, one thing is for sure.. He will always enjoy sharing his love of food with others!
